The trip was very nice!!! Our favorite visits were "St Clements caves",The "Brighton Pier" with his slot machines,the shopping was very good and very funny because it was the Sales!!! So it was an UNFORGETTABLE trip!!!

We are going to England on February 13th , for four days, by bus and ferry.
We are going to travel overnight then stay with English families for two nights.
We are going to visit the cathedral of Canterbury, Newhaven Fort, the Brighton Sea Life Center (when we have free time we hope we can go shopping ! ), the Castle of Hastings, St Clement's Caves, the fishing village of Rye...
And then we will go back to France

Hola somos los alumnos de la clase europea de espanol. Esta semana nos lo hemos pasado muy bien.
Hemos aprendido como se celebra Navidad en Espana. También hemos organizado una sorpresa para nustros companeros de la clase europea de inglés: cantidad de pastelitos que hemos compartido con mucho gusto.

We were busy talking when we heard a knock at the door. And here they were, all our friends from the Spanish european class ! They had made loads of delicious cakes for us all . What a great surprise ! Thank you very much !

                    Mr and Mrs Guy Fawkes

In 1605 Guy Fawkes tried to kill king James I and to blow up the Parliament. The plot was discovered and Guy Fawkes was executed.
Every November 5, the British celebrate Guy Fawkes night . They have fireworks, bonfires .They make' a guy ' and burn it to remember the 'Gunpowder plot'

On the photos we are making 'guys' : Mr and Mrs Fawkes ! We stuffed tights, trousers and old jumpers with newspapers. We used plastic bags for their heads ! But our Head did not want us to burn it inside the school !
We sat them in the school hall for the parents meeting on Thursday and asked for 'A penny for the guys'. We earned 7 euros !

Nicki Bailey is a beautiful girl who is 21. She is great fun and smily. She smiles all the time. She loves eating seafood and chocolate and also sports She is in France for 7 months and she is an English assistant at our school. She has got MSN and a phone number, and she has got a boyfriend in Aberdeen!!! She loves rock music!She does not like maths . She is top of the class. She has got a cat. her favourite Hockey team is HC Davos. She loves snowboarding and she used to play the flute.
She is from London but her mother is from Switzerland . She speaks French, Spanish , Swiss-German and English. She is friendly and generous but she is a bit messy ! Her mother is a physiotherapist and her father is a teacher.
She prefers France to England. She has got one brother who is 19. She is a student in England. So she is here to learn French. Her best friend lives in Cardiff.

Our teacher has bought these textbooks for us in Scotland.We can see what primary school children and secondary school students learn at school.

We are working hard to send you comments. We are little angels : we are hard-working , we aren't talkative at all and very nice with the teacher...but a bit messy !

We are a class of 26 enthusiastic pupils, aged 13 and 14. Our collège Jean Jacques Rousseau is in Saint Julien en Genevois ,in the south east of France, near the Swiss border, in Haute Savoie.
We are going to spend two years together and try to learn as much as we can about English-speaking countries.We would love to communicate with kids all over the world. We will tell you all about our projects,activities..
